My Top 5 Favourite Basketball Players to Watch

By: A'mare Lammie

Basketball is one of the most exciting sports ever, and some players just make the game even more fun to watch. They’ve got style, skills, and serious moves. These are my top 5 favourite players to watch, and every time they’re on the court, I can’t look away!

 1. Kyrie Irving – Handles Like Magic

Kyrie is like an artist with the ball. His dribbling is next level. He can spin, cross over, and get to the hoop with crazy smooth layups. When Kyrie plays, it’s like watching a basketball video game!

 2. Stephen Curry – The 3-Point King

Steph can shoot from anywhere—and I mean anywhere. Half-court? No problem. His quick release and deep threes are insane. He makes the crowd go wild and always plays with a big smile on his face. 🔥

 3. Allen Iverson – The Original Ankle Breaker

AI might be retired, but watching his highlights is still amazing. He was small but fearless, fast, and had handles that could break anyone’s ankles. Plus, his swagger and heart made him a legend. He changed the game for guards.

 4. Kevin Durant – Smooth Scorer

KD is one of the most unstoppable scorers ever. He’s 7 feet tall and still shoots like a guard. Watching him pull up for a jumper or drive past defenders is so smooth. It looks easy—but only he can do it like that.

 5. Victor Wembanyama – The Future of the Game

Wemby is the newest superstar, and he’s already doing wild things. He’s super tall, can block shots like crazy, and even dribble and shoot threes. It’s like a guard got put in a center’s body! He’s the future, and I love watching what he’ll do next.

 Final Thoughts

Each of these players has their own special style—and that’s what makes them so fun to watch. From Kyrie’s handles to Wemby’s blocks, they keep the game exciting every time they step on the court.

Who are your favourite players to watch?

What AAU Basketball Gets Right (And Wrong)

By A'mare Lammie AAU basketball gives kids a chance to play on teams outside of school. Many NBA players started in AAU. But even though it can be awesome, there are some things it could do better. Let’s check out what AAU gets right and wrong .  What AAU Gets Right 1. More Games, More Fun Players get to play in lots of games and travel to different places. And it’s really exciting! 2. Competition Makes You Better You play against strong players, which helps you improve your skills. 3. Meet People From Everywhere Tournaments bring kids together from all over the country. 4. College Coaches Are Watching Older kids can get noticed by college scouts and maybe even earn scholarships.  What AAU Gets Wrong 1. Too Many Games, Not Enough Practice Some teams focus more on winning games than teaching skills. That can be a problem for young players. 2. Can Be Too Expensive AAU can cost a lot of money—for travel, uniforms, and team fees. Not all families can afford i...

If I Had a Superpower, It Would Be...

By: A'mare Lammie Have you ever dreamed about having a superpower? I think about it all the time! If I could have any superpower, it would be the power to teleport, which means I could go anywhere in the world in just one second! Here’s why teleportation would be the coolest superpower ever: 1. I Could Travel Anywhere If I had teleportation powers, I could visit any place I wanted. Want to see the Eiffel Tower in Paris? Boom,  I’m there. Craving a slice of New York pizza? Zap! I’m eating it in seconds. No more long car rides or boring airplane trips. I could go anywhere, anytime!  2. No More Being Late for School Let’s be honest, waking up early is hard . But with teleportation, I could wake up five minutes before school starts and still be on time! I’d never miss the bus or get stuck in traffic. School would start feeling a lot easier!  3. I Could Help People If someone was in danger or needed help, I could teleport there and help them fast. I could rescue people from...
